4.1.2 Assy / Sub assy drawing (Figure assemblies / sub assemblies)
Assy drawing (Figure assemblies) is a picture that shows how all the parts connected together in a complete product in its functional position (Fig techniques vol II)
The purpose of the assy drawing is to show the whole unit assembly and function rather than describing the forms of the individual.
Sub-assy drawing (sub assembly drawings) shows the assembled structure with one unit of the details in a functional condition.
